então, b'noite. estava eu, no outro dia, a falar no messenger com um amigo (btw, o blog dele é: De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas) e, já não me lembro como, começamos a falar de Pokémon. Sim, eu já sou uma adolescente mas sempre amei Pokémon e sempre vou amar. x_x porque Pokémon é fixe... ao contrário da população do mundo.
*aham* continuando... A conversa levou a falar da famosa cidade fantasma, Lavender Town. Ahhh, como eu amava a Lavender Town... (e ainda amo)... E passava horas a ouvir a música... A gastar a porra das pilhas do Gameboy só para a ouvir durante horas... *viaja no tempo* continuando... E ele falou-me dum mito que eu não tinha conhecimento...
"When “Pokemon” was first released in Japan, there was an odd phenomenon between children ages 7-12, particularly in those using headphones to listen to the sound effects. Increase of nosebleeds, irritability, insomnia, and addiction to the game, playing for hours and hours on end and crying to the point of vomiting when the opportunity was taken away.
Roughly 70% of these cases ended in suicide.
In almost every case of the aforementioned symptoms, despite gameplay time recorded to the limit of the internal clock, the game had not progressed further than “Lavender Town”.
A closer analysis of the game revealed a tone in the audio of the music for “Lavender Town” at a pitch undetectable by fully developed human ear drums. Within weeks every unsold copy of the “first edition” the game were recalled silently and the game was re-released with re-mastered audio for “Lavender Town”.
The widely known version is said to be missing three extra tones, as well as the unique, binaural tone of the first edition, although this is unconfirmed due to the rarity of working first edition copies; in the known few that remain, the internal clock and ‘battery save’ have all timed out and ceased function, and in many cases the game will freeze upon entering any battle.

mas também... os japoneses tiveram ataques epiléticos quando viam Pokémon na televisão, não tinham?... então...
Bem... se calhar fez-me efeito, no sentido de ficar viciada e não largar o Gameboy por um so minuto... ahah, que crente que eu sou...

Lavender sempre foi a minha cidade preferida. Ainda agora no soul silver gosto de passar lá o tempo sem fazer nada xD pena não terem conseguido fazer um bom remake da música original para a versão da DS. Não sabia das consequências da música o.o' sempre fui viciado em pokémon mas não creio que tenha sido pro culpa dela xD
